SIGMA Cloud is a multi-tenancy platform that provides the infrastructure needed by universities and higher education centers to have the solutions SIGMA Academic and SIGMA Research available in SaaS (Software as a Service). We have two different levels of service with a Public and Private Cloud.
Main advantages of SIGMA Cloud:
Two steps must be taken on every migration to Cloud. First, we must register the Applications used by centers and departments that must be available for the students and of which SIGMA guarantees its right functioning once the migration is completed. Then, we have to define and reach an agreement with the university regarding the service level, how we are going to do it and how it is going to be the communication between the institution and SIGMA.
At SIGMA we keep working to improve a management infrastructure on Cloud that will allow us to reach new peaks, be more competitive and offer to our partners and users more and better services, taking the most of the system’s capacity.
