At the moment, about 20% of Spanish researchers are using SIGMA Research, with 25,000 researchers, almost 200,000 publications, more than 65,000 conferences, more than 20,000 projects and more than 8,000 agreements and contracts, it can be concluded that magnitude of the information managed is very relevant.
The consultative committee, which has been held since March 2016, has been a before and after with the consolidation of a joint management body for the progress of the SIGMA Research project.
At this session, Marc Mussons, Manager of the Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya, opened the conference highlighting the need to evolve the tools of SIGMA Research towards innovative and attractive models for the scientific community.
In the session, the progress of the current state of the projects and studies of 2019 was exposed, and the Universities participated in the Committee presenting four relevant projects in the study and development phase to encourage debate and decision-making.
SIGMA emphasized on the strategic lines of the roadmap, which aim to continue evolving the product towards current and future needs. Finally, different evolution projects were also presented and prioritized for their adaptation to the 2020 Roadmap.
A very decisive session that is an indisputable forum to continue evolving the Research solution.
