Great attendance, collaboration between corporations and the active participation of SIGMA
EUNIS gathered more than 300 professionals, managers, policy development and information technology in higher education in Europe in the 21st EUNIS Congress held in Dundee, from 10 to 12 of June 2015.
Congress presents the contributions of the organization and its members for the development of excellent information systems and quality. To this end, this year the following subjects were discussed:
Great choice of plenary lectures: Prof. Peter Cochrane, University of Hertfordshire, who presented a conditioned by artificial intelligence technology and future, allowing us to manage the increasing complexity; DR. Phil Richards, Chief Innovation Officer, JISC, showing the English consortium approach to the use of digital technologies in higher education, and its open innovation model based on collaboration with other consortia and institutions; Dr. James Miller, Director, exposing the model of Open University Scotland; Nicole Harris, Project Development Officer of TERENA and Joanna Lyn Grama, Director Operations you DRA, IT GRC and Cibersecutiry Progams EDUCASE.

We participated in the task force "Electronic Management of Assessment and Assessment Analytics" conducted Gill Ferrell where the business model adopted by Queens's University and the consortium included JISC explained. This model marks a cycle of continuous improvement in the monitoring of students on their way through college.
And the taskforce "Connecting to STORK2.0 for interoperability Among Europeans Universities conducted Victoriano Giralt, in which several practical examples of the use of STORK 2.0 will be taught to handle requests from different universities using this standard.
Excellent organization of the event by the Abertay University, allowed enjoying the Scottish traditions, the city of Dundee and the friendliness of its people, leaving an unforgettable memory for all attendees.
