Research Investigating - Reflection on Universities 21st Century and socially responsible knowledge space

The event took place on 28 and 29 July, which was held in Rio de Janeiro, III International Meeting of Universia, in which more than 1,000 universities in 46 countries, whose aim was to reflect on the University of 21st Century and promote a Latin American Knowledge socially responsible.
In conclusion, the Carta Universia Rio 2014 was drafted.
There was talk of new trends such as expansion, diversification and renewal in demand for teaching, qualifications and learning models; and increased differentiation of educational provision and transnational education; the growing and unstoppable internationalization; consolidation of new schemes university competition and cooperation; the need for an efficient management of the generation, transmission and transfer of knowledge for development and social cohesion; the emergence of digital educational components; and changing patterns of funding and organization.
