New applications developed for the student community
A couple of years ago, few people would have imagined that the universities to bet on the apps. It seemed rather a proprietary technology for games, utilities and entertainment, but some of them they did and today we can say that they have come to stay and hold.
Currently, in collaboration with SIGMA AIE, universities in the consortium SIGMA AIE allow their students or may soon be downloaded, at no cost, to consult my qualifications, consult PAU qualifications, teacher-student messaging and consult timetables or for teacher evaluation surveys, all through their mobile devices (iOS and Android).
The consortium SIGMA AIE formed by universities UAB, UAM, UCO, UPF, UPNA, UVA and UZ students and routinely used these apps, which incidentally are received with great appreciation by this group, taking as a 130,000 downloads and increasing the number quickly.
Some questioned whether the university is innovative and it certainly is, and although it is immersed in a scenario of cuts and restrictions, in this case, forming the consortium SIGMA AIE, do not forget the importance of innovation and the need to provide their students better and better tools and services.
SIGMA AIE universities also have an eye on innovations related to eLearning and analytics and data visualization, among others.
