SIGMA takes part of the 12th promotion of FP DUAL, where more than 22 students from 12 schools participate.
On September 27, the new promotion of students SIGMA Learning Center was inaugurated.
In this promotion, SIGMA unveils its DUAL FP agreement with the Institute of Badia del Vallès, with four students of Web Application Development. The FP DUAL has many similarities to the Learning Center project SIGMA, which is working since 2009. The basic premise of FP DUAL is that students will receive part of their training at the center and partly at their workplace. Then, after having completed the internship, the students shall be eligible for a scholarship in the company.
By the four months it takes the internship, students will follow the SIGMA Training Program, based mostly in Java and J2EE, with formations on HTML, CSS, javascript, Listings, Android and the three frameworks from the company. Thanks to the College Schools Gimbernat, the students will be trained on UML, Teamwork and user centered design.
The goal of the Learning Center is to attract and train talented young professionals in the values of SIGMA (responsibility, commitment, teamwork, personal growth and motivation). During these five years, more than 208 students have participated in the project; among them, 45 have agreed to a scholarship and 23 have been hired in SIGMA.
