The University of Valladolid (UVa), in collaboration with SIGMA AIE, makes available to the university community the Pizarra application that since now, allows students to chat and send messages to the group members. Since now, the version of the application is also available for iPhone.
The application offers the student a “blackboard” for each of the subjects in which the student is enrolled, where he can communicate with the teacher and the other students involved with the course. The communication is instant and anywhere.
This is a messaging system similar to mobile applications widely used, with the advantage of being available exclusively for the community of teachers and students at UVa.
Teachers who give more than one subject are able to send their messages to students in several or even all of their subjects.
The aplication represents an innovative service in the university and a significant boost in the process of diffusion of new technologies at UVa.
