After obtaining the ISO 20000-1 accreditation last January, for the provision of services SIGMA Academic, SIGMA achieves the recognition of the quality services offered to their clients. This represents a new step forward in the application of good international practices in the provision of services and rewards the hard work done during the project.
The ISO 2000-1 are a set of rules that allow to define and implement a Service Management System (SGS). It specifies the service provider (in this case, SIGMA) the requirements to plan, establish, implement, opperate, monitorize, review, maintain and improve a SGS. The requirements include the design, transition, supply and improvement of the services to satisfy the service standards. With this, we try to achieve the management goals such as improving service quality, boost of the service innovation and management model, fulfillment of applicable legal requirements as well as the compliance with the agreed levels of service and of the goals of the indicators on each proccess.
The proccess to obtain the mentioned accreditation started at the end of 2014, and though the reviewing project and definition proccess have been done by a team built for this project, it has been necessary the participation and implication of the whole company. In November 2015 the certifying company APPlus carried out the audit to obtain the accreditation, and its favourable report was approved by the acredditing commission of ENAC (Entidad Nacional de Acreditación) in January 2016.
The fulfillment of this goal is another step forward that shows the commitment of SIGMA for the continuous improvement of the services offered to their clients.
