One more year, SIGMA has been very present at the 25th annual EUNIS 2019 congress, held in the city of Trondheim in Norway from June 5 to 7.
The event featured different topics of interest related to digitalization and the future development of the campus for higher education such as leadership and management, ICT, infrastructure and security, learning, teaching and student experience, software development, interoperability and research.
In this edition SIGMA led the workshop of the Student Mobility Group 'Progress Made and Challenges to Beat' with the aim of presenting initiatives and projects that work the optimal exchange of information at an international level, such as the Erasmus Without Paper, ESC and EMREX projects. With two sessions in one day, the workshop was a success that ended with an open debate with the participants.
On the other hand an interesting project was presented in the software development session that responds to the needs that are presented with the GDPR: Log analytics using Elasticsearch in a Cloud platform that has allowed SIGMA to analyze the records of the applications and know how Our users use the platform.
The event was a success that allowed us to continue promoting the exchange with experts in higher education information systems, continue to be at the forefront of the latest developments in the sector and continue to collaborate within the international higher education community.
