The meeting was held in the wonderful abbey of the Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet located in the Conca de Barberà, Tarragona.
CIOs and IT leaders from various higher education institutions across Europe were able to meet to highlight the growing importance of the role of new information technologies in the higher education sector. A meeting that aimed to share different visions and methodologies and discover the near future that will find the institutions due to the evolution of new technologies.
It was attended by great speakers such as Professor Espen Andersen of BI Norweigan Business School, Vincent Heuveline, Computing Center Director of Heidelberg University, James Krouse; Global Solutions Marketing Director of SAP and Lluís Alfons Ariño; ICT Director of Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
