The Kick-Off was held at Gent University
SIGMA works in the EWP project, with the aim of creating an electronic European net between higher education institutions regarding the automatic data and document exchange for Erasmus students.
The project will help the existing exchange procedures in Erasmus+, making them quicker and changing the documentation from a paper-institutions management to a completely digital management. The reason for doing so is the emerging need of increasing the accessibility to mobility programs, making the application process and the management process easier.
The main objective of the project is to define and develop a pilot for an electronic sistema ‘EWP Network’. This consists of an integrated communication net for the data exchange of students in electronic way, and the construction of software connectors that will allow the interconnection between ERPs of academic management and mobility.
This project is sponsored by the European Comission within the scope of Erasmus+ program, and leaded by Ghent university.
