The ranking of "The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR)" ranked the world's top universities
El “Center for World University Rankings”, consulting company based in Saudi Arabia, the world's only public university ranking that measures the quality of education and training of students as well as the prestige of teachers and the quality of their research.
Its rankings are based on 8 categories, each set with a percentage based on the importance that the center gives them. These are:
The quality of education, the alumni employment, the quality of faculty publications in scientific journals, the influence, the number of citations of papers published by researchers, the impact and finally, the number of international patents.
From these indicators, in 2014 the college has topped the ranking with the first position was Harvard. United States, as usual, reached the top positions but China and Japan struggle to get up the score of their universities to get the position of the Americans. After the U.S., China and Japan there are UK, Germany, France and Italy, followed in eighth place with the Spanish university system with 41 universities.
