The event took place during 28, 29 and 30 of October in IFEMA
The Workshop for Technology in Education was celebrated between the 28th and the 30th of October, in La Feria de Madrid. In this edition, organized by IFEMA, more than 187 companies participated with the latest in technology oriented to solve educational procedures.
This is the second year in a row that SIMO EDUCACIÓN, in collaboration with the Sectorial Commission of Spanish Universities Rector’s (CRUE) has organized a program of structured conferences about 3 thematic blocs. One of them oriented to vice rectors TI of public and private universities called “IT Strategy in Universities”. The second one was targeted to the CIO’s of Spanish universities, with the title “the paper of the CIO in Universities”. The third one was about “The paper of technology in the business procedures at universities”.
SIGMA has participated with the exposition “Cloud Solutions for Higher Education. The case of Universitat Pompeu Fabra”, where Jordi Cuní (SIGMA CIO) and Montse Domingo (TIC projects responsible of UPF) has presented the Cloud model in university management and the experience of the successful migration in UPF when moving from a on-premise model to a Cloud model.
The area offers a space of knowledge and futures tendencies communication where SIGMA has been contributing with their experience since 2011, proving the Cloud model for Higher Education.
