Catalan universities are agree to use ORCID identifier for its researchers
The growing need among the community of researchers, research centers, institutions, etc. to be able to get the activities and publications related to the same author by a unique identifier researcher has caused various proposals along this time. ORCID, emerged in 2010, has gained importance in recent years providing this unique 16-digit identifier.
SIGMA, in its continuous approximation to the new trends and technological adaptation already has a version of their product CRIS for maintaining this unique identifier with which the researcher can link their research activities dispersed among various literature sources.
