During the 27th, 28th and 29th of March the XVIII RUEPEP meeting was held at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona under the topic "The quality and employability of postgraduate studies".
These seminars were the ideal place to discuss the objectives of higher continuous training and its applicability in an increasingly competitive labor market.
SIGMA’s attended the event as a member of the network and as main collaborators of the creation of the postgraduate and continuing education publication "More information, better decisions: Postgraduate responses".
This publication was born as a result of a joint reflection between RUEPEP and SIGMA on the difficulty of understanding the specific framework of the postgraduate higher education system in Spain.
The main objective of the publication is to contribute in a pedagogical way to clarifying the basic concepts of postgraduate and continuing education for the agents directly involved and for society.
The focus of the different topics in the publication clarifies the most basic concepts, helps to know the forms of management of the postgraduate and its implications, understand the typology of international programs, and also other relevant aspects such as processes of quality improvement , rankings and the importance of international networks.
A project that aims to be a reference in the consolidation of postgraduate and continuing education within the university education.
