The event will take place between the 9 and 11 of November 2015, in the IEC
The Second euroCRIS Strategic membership Meeting will be held this year in Barcelona. The event is organized by the CSUC (Consorci de Serveis Universitaris de Catalunya) and the IEC (Institut d’Estudis Catalans), and its main purpose is to combine a strategic seminar with a regular membership meeting.
The central theme of the meeting will be the International Collaboration on research management information and CERIF. During the meeting the emphasis of the contributions lies on theoretical discussions and interaction, but their main focus should be on practical use cases and requirements, concerning interesting topics for both strategic partners and members such as:
- Assessment of research
- Grant application, workflow and monitoring
- Profiling of researchers and institutes
- Research data management and archiving
- (the creation of) Research information infrastructures
- Local /institutional developments
- (inter-)National developments
The goals of the event are not only the exchange of information and ideas but more so, the exploration of possible concrete joint actions and projects towards the realization of an improvement of the research information landscape, based on international standards.
SIGMA will assist to the event and Anna Guillaumet will speak about Open Science and how the research information systems must adapt to this new scenario.
