Yesterday finished the 27th edition of Salo de l’Ensenyament, one of the big events in the field of education in Catalunya. The event was organized by Fira de Barcelona and coordinated by Generalitat de Catalunya. The Saló de l’Ensenyament, along with AULA de Madrid, is the reference for information and orientation about the national education offer to students and professionals of the field. In this event, several institutions of higher education present their range of educational offer in different stands and organize varied activities like speeches, guided visits and conferences.
The 2016 edition has been marked by the increasing internationalization of studies in an everyday more globalized market. This year the most recent developments have been the 3-Year Bachelor´s Degree, such as the Bioinformátics degree (ESCI) or the Global Studies degree (UPF). Furthermore, biomedical sciences, veterinary science, computer science and children education and primary school have been the degrees by which the students have been more interested and have requested more information. Regarding to professional training (FP), the courses related with industrial training, health, administration and finance, business and marketing have been the ones more demanded.
Several universities and higher education entities with which SIGMA collaborates in Catalunya, presented their educational offer, as it is custom, in their stand in the Saló de l’Ensenyament: UAB, UPF, UVIC - UCC, ESCI, Blanquerna, EINA, TecnoCampus, IQS, FUB, ESIM and ELISAVA.
