On June 4, SIGMA took part in a new announcement of Working Knowledge and Research in which it participates and which held a conference related to open access in the program H2020
SIGMA participated in a meeting organized by the working group knowledge and research organized by the Association of Librarians Documentalists of Catalonia (COBDC) and the Research Centre of the Institute of Catalan Studies (OR-IEC), with which it collaborates. In this working group, consisting of profiles specializing in R&D, it focuses on scientific information and its management and it is composed of heterogeneous profiles as archivists, researchers, librarians, technologists, etc...
At the meeting, it was made a presentation on open access in the program Horizon 2020. This is the program that funds research and innovation different issues in the European context and it has about approximately €80.000M for the period 2014-2020.
As participants featured speeches by four partners who explain issues related to the management of scientific information among whom are members of the Consortium of University Services of Catalonia (CSUC), Elsevier, Government of Andorra and SIGMA.
Anna Guillaumet, from SIGMA, presented the project autoloading scientific data from external sources into information management systems research (CRIS).
