The academic community UZA in your Mobile
The Universidad de Zaragoza (UZ), in collaboration with SIGMA Gestión Universitaria AIE, makes available to the university community a new application for mobile devices. It is the PIZARRA App, which will allow teachers and students to communicate through their mobile devices.
The application offers the student a "blackboard" for each of the subjects in which the student is enrolled, where may receive communications from any teacher or student linked to the subject. Communication between teachers and students will be immediate and useful anywhere. This is a messaging system similar to mobile applications widely used, with the advantage of being available exclusively for the community of teachers and students of the Universidad de Zaragoza.
The teacher associated with a particular subject will be able to send messages to their students, whether he is the holder or he operates as a professor of practice, problems, etc. Additionally, those teachers who teach more than one subject will be able to send messages in bulk to several students and even all their subjects.
The application is available for mobile devices with the Android operating system and mobile devices iPhone, iPod and iPad.The application is a new service in the university and will be a major boost in the process of diffusion of new technologies in the UZ.
