Times Higher Education (THE), leading publication on the higher education field, has published this November its last Global University Employability Ranking 2016. On this 6th edition, 3 private Spanish universities rank on the top 100 of the best institutions regarding the employability of its students.
At national level, IE University is the best Spanish university ranked on the 25th overall position, followed by University of Navarra on 66th position and University Ramón Llull on 86th position. Overall, the ranking topped by North – American universities with the California Institute of Technology, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University holding the first, second and third positions respectively.
Regarding to the criteria followed to predict the graduate’s employability; the following skills have been taken into account (on this order): professional experience, high degree of specialization, proficiency in at least two foreign languages, extra-curricular activities and an excellent academic record.
To produce the Global University Employability Ranking, an online survey taken by 2500 personnel managers as well as the opinion of 3500 executives have been taken into account.
