On the 14th and 15th of February, Universidad Pública de Navarra hosted the new SIGMA’s Research Consultative Committee.
The main goal of the Consultative Committee is to bring together the Associated universities, to reach an agreement on the evolution of the SIGMA’s Research product to improve its quality.
The meeting was attended by some representatives of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Universitat de Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya, Universidad Pública de Navarra and Universidad de Valladolid.
The presentation was given by Ramón Gonzalo, Research’s Vice-Rector of Universidad Pública de Navarra, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of a forum to advance on the information systems that support the investigation. At the meeting, we presented the strategic lines and the roadmap to be followed, as well as the advances of the new developments that are in progress with the different universities. In addition, the forum was useful to decide the projects that must be worked on during the year and know the latest research trends.
To sum up, it is a forum where we discuss about key matters to continue offering an innovative product which is adapted to the research activity.
