SIGMA, COMMITTED TO DATA PROTECTION

SIGMA GESTIÓN UNIVERSITARIA A.I.E (SIGMA) is an organisation committed to data protection and guarantees all data subjects the security of the information relating to all personal data processed in its various processing activities.

SIGMA guarantees compliance with the legislation in force on data protection, both at national level and under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

All processing carried out by the organisation is based on the principles of data minimisation, data protection by design and by default, ensuring that processing is lawful, and safeguarding data security, as well as on all other requirements laid down in the applicable legislation.

SIGMA AS DATA CONTROLLER

Under the applicable legislation, a data controller is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing.

SIGMA is the controller of the processing activities notified as such, whether on this website or through other means by which the organisation has clearly stated that it acts in this capacity.

SIGMA AS DATA PROCESSOR

Under the applicable legislation, a data processor is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

SIGMA also acts as a processor for its members and clients, who are the controllers. The organisation guarantees the overall security of the data processed on behalf of those controllers and ensures compliance with the applicable data protection legislation in all processing operations carried out.

SIGMA SAFEGUARDS THE EXERCISE OF YOUR RIGHTS

The organisation provides data subjects with various communication channels to facilitate the exercise of the rights established by the applicable legislation.
