Founded in 1996, SIGMA is a non-profit organisation made up of 15 of the most important academic institutions in the country. Our main goal is to help higher education institutions to optimize their management with information technologies (IT), providing the best solutions for academic, teaching and research management.
At an international level, SIGMA participates in several european organisations like EUNIS (European University Information Systems), euroCRIS (Current Research Information Systems), EAIE (European Association for International Education) and also takes part in European projects such as EWP (Erasmus Without Paper).
